Matchbox Rebrand and Mega Rig new brand look.
This was a challenge because it was once a line where the plastic window material in the boxes were adding so much cost to the product, that there was not much being made on POS. The idea was to make a closed structure to remove the cost of the window material and tell a better story of what the toys inside were all about. There was a building system that needed to be communicated on package, along with the main toy that you can build with the assorted pieces. This is kind of like Lego, where you can make variations of a certain toy. The new approach worked, as sales went up, while production and labor costs went down.
