One of my favorite Comic Con Exclusive packages. The idea  presented to marketing and design helped my team to be awarded over double the original budget to bring it to life.
The task to make this happen was exceptionally difficult, as time was not only an issue, but sourcing for the electronics and materials for the diecast cars were in separate countries of Hong Kong and Malaysia.
Simultaneously, working alongside the licensor, 3 sound clips from the actual 80's TV show Knight Rider were approved for use. When you open the box, lights and sounds play, creating a magical moment that also helped to get David Hasselhoff to appear at the Mattel booth for the unveiling! This Comic Con exclusive was completely sold out at the convention.
